Information:
IBM Research Africa is trying to find a Ph.D. level intern to hitch their way forward for the Climate Research group which is exploring different mitigation and adaptation strategies to combat global climate change. This unique position will provide a chance to figure with developers and researchers based in Nairobi, Kenya while also engaging with many global researchers within the world’s largest industrial lab.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Enrolled in a Ph.D (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, Information Systems)
- Coding experience with the scientific and ML Python stack (sklearn, numpy, scipy, pandas, matplotlib, etc.).
- Exposure to deep-learning Python libraries such as tensorflow, pytorch is a plus.
