Natural & Effective Tips for Glowing Skin

Woman Face

Do you long for a naturally gorgeous complexion? Do you wish that you had absolutely beautiful, glowing skin? Every person desires picture-perfect, glowing skin.

Our skin is fragile, and exposing it to harmful chemicals is always a huge risk to take. Stressful lifestyles, hectic work schedules, inadequate sleep, lack of nutritional diet, pollution, harmful sun rays (UVA/UVB), excessive smoking, and drinking alcohol are the major factors that make your skin dull and dry.

All of these are part and parcel of your life and you cannot run away from them. However, you can surely prevent them.

That being said, you’ll be glad to know that it’s not too late for you because we have put together a guide that’ll give you glowing skin in the longer run.

Here are Some Tips

1) Drink Up

Aim to get 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. The water will clear your skin and make it glow because it makes it easier for your body to flush out toxins quickly.

Carry a water bottle with you all day to make sure you always have water on hand.

Drink herbal tea or other non-sugary beverages to hydrate when you’re tired of water.

2) Get Enough Sleep

Don’t yawn! This may be on every “best skin care tip” list but it isn’t only about getting an arbitrary eight hours.

Quality of sleep matters. Six hours of deep restful sleep is far better than nine hours of tossing and turning.

Plus…Your sleep position really matters for your skin. Sleeping on your stomach can scrunch your face and put pressure on your neck.

This then results in tighter face muscles, sagging skin, and blocked circulation…. all factors you want to avoid for glowing skin. As hard as it is, try to break the stomach-sleeping habit!

3) Adequate Protein Intake

The number one most important “diet tip” for getting glowing skin is to make sure you are eating adequate protein!

Protein keeps your blood sugar levels steady which reduces cravings and inflammation

Protein is the building block for everything – including skin!

Protein is satiating, so you are less likely to fill up on other stuff – like too many refined carbs.

This means less water retention  (Seriously, if you want tighter skin increase your  protein intake and see what happens within a few days!)

4) Yoga and Exercises

Yoga is a natural way to keep your body and mind healthy. Practice some inverted poses such as the Downward Dog Pose and the Lion Face.

It is believed that they help control aging and maintain a healthy glow by stimulating circulation and relaxing your muscles.

However, be very careful while doing these poses, especially if you are new to yoga. Make sure you learn them from a certified instructor.
You can also indulge in regular brisk exercises like walking, jogging, dancing, yoga, cycling, and boxing.

When you exercise, your body receives a lot of oxygen while you breathe heavily. Oxygen fights the formation of free radicals, which lead to premature aging and dull skin.

It makes your body fit and healthy and adds a glow to your face. When you sweat while exercising, you burn off the extra calories.

It also improves blood circulation and digestion and gives you a healthy glow.
