Life in space is very different from the humans living on Earth. They are specially trained to spend time in space. They are even trained to use toilets, bathing, etc. as all the processes should be done differently in space. They even get the training of swimming as walking in space is similar to walking in water (seems interesting!).

Some Facts About Astronauts

Crying

Do you know why? Let me tell you. It’s because in space there is no gravitation and the tears will stick to their skin and they will not flow as they flow on Earth; that makes them unable to cry. Hoo-ha… astronauts are very happy people.

#2 Astronauts Can Grow Up to 3% Taller in Outer Space

Weightless

Now if you want to become taller, let’s go to outer space. Astronauts grow 2 inches taller because there is no force of gravity to hold their spines in place.

#3 Astronauts Wear Diapers

Diaper

Don’t you think this is weird, a grown person wearing a diaper? But astronauts wear. Well technically saying it’s a “maximum absorbency garment” but for all its intent and purposes it is a hmm…. diaper. Actually, astronaut’s missions are unpredictable and their time period is highly uncertain. Sometimes in certain circumstances, they are unable to reach the toilet; that’s why they use diapers. (Oops really hard for them)

It seems to us that astronauts have an interesting life. But their life is pretty much hard. They have to do common things in different ways than other people.

They have to remain strong in all kinds of situations. Even to get the sleep they have to tie themselves because of weightlessness. NASA astronaut Scot Kelly mentioned in their tweet that they even dream of space.

They have to face problems like scarcity of water and eatables etc.

Many times when they reach Earth they break things like a cup it’s because they are used to the weightlessness of space that they are unable to suddenly cope with Earth’s force of gravity.
